Eligibility
- Clients must be at least 18 years of age.
- Clients must complete and sign the consent and medical history forms prior to the procedure.
- Clients must provide valid identification.
Health and Safety
- Clients must inform the technician of any known allergies, medical conditions, or medications.
- Clients must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the procedure.
- Clients with certain medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, epilepsy, blood disorders, skin conditions) may require a doctor’s note.
Consultation and Patch Test
Consultation and patch test are not required for this procedure unless you have previously experienced a reaction to ink, dye, or similar products. If you have a history of sensitivity or concerns regarding allergic reactions, please inform us so we can arrange a patch test at least 24 hours before your appointment. By proceeding without a patch test, you acknowledge and accept the associated risks.
Clients must follow pre-procedure and aftercare instructions provided during the consultation.
Procedure Details
- The micropigmentation process typically involves multiple sessions, including initial application and follow-up touch-ups.
- Clients must arrive on time for appointments. Late arrivals may need to be rescheduled and may incur a fee.
Pre-Appointment Instructions
Numbing Cream Policy
Clients are required to purchase and apply numbing cream to the treatment area 1 hour prior to their appointment. This ensures optimal comfort during the procedure.
Emla cream is recommended- this can be purchase in any pharmacy, Boots or Superdrug’s without prescription.
Alternatively, if you are unable to apply the numbing cream yourself, a therapist can assist with the application upon your arrival. However, this requires you to sign a waiver acknowledging the associated risks and responsibilities.
Media
Photo and video will be taken before and after the treatment for many reasons including client records, insurance purposes, and social media. Media evidence is also necessary in order to assess the healing process and results of the treatment.
We recognize the importance of protecting our client’s privacy and edit the photos to display only the treated area.
Client may waive media evidence from being utilised on social media.
Booking and Payment
A deposit is required upfront to confirm your booking(Payment made via Fresha). The remaining balance must be paid in full at the time of treatment. Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Prices are not negotiable. By proceeding with your booking, you agree to these terms.
- A non-refundable £100 booking fee is required to book and secure every new booking.
- Full payment is due at the time of the service.
- Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed bookings will honor the quoted price at the time of booking.
Lateness or Missed Appointment
We kindly ask that you arrive 15 minutes for your appointment. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate late arrivals, and any lateness will result in the appointment being cancelled and the full fee being charged. Punctuality is essential to ensure the smooth running of our schedule and fairness to all clients. Missed appointments or cancellations without notice will also incur the full charge. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Clients must provide at least 2-3 days’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
- No-shows will result in a charge of the full amount for the service booked.
- Cancelling or rescheduling of the same appointment occurs more than once will be treated the same as a cancelled/missed appointment and will be subjected to cancellation fees or declining of all future appointment requests.
- Booking fees are in no way transferable to another client.
Result of treatment
While we use the best techniques and products available, we cannot guarantee exact outcomes. Healed results will differ for each individual client. While following the aftercare instructions diligently is essential, the healing process is beyond our control, and we cannot guarantee specific healed results. Typically, two sessions are sufficient to achieve a natural-looking result. Clients seeking a more defined or intense outcome should be aware that additional sessions may be required, which will incur an additional charge.
Touch-up sessions may be required to achieve and maintain the desired results.
Aftercare
- Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided. Following these instructions is crucial for optimal results and to avoid complications.
- FacialFeatures is not responsible for any adverse outcomes resulting from failure to follow aftercare instructions.
Liability
- The Company and its technicians are not liable for any allergic reactions, complications, or dissatisfaction with the results.
- Clients assume full responsibility for any adverse effects arising from the microblading procedure.
Rights to refuse services
Due to the nature of our services we do not condemn abusive language or behaviour failing to comply may result in cancellations of your treatment with immediate effect. We have the right to refuse service to anyone behaving improperly, intoxicated or if their state of health may influence the type of treatment received.
Premises
Children are not allowed to enter in the building and in the treatment area. Failing to comply will result in your booking session to be cancelled with immediate effect and without any refund issued. Due to the nature of our detailed artistic services, we kindly request that you respect our no guest policy.
Privacy and Confidentiality
- Client information will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing microblading services.
- The Company will not share client information with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from or related to these terms will be resolved exclusively in accordance with these laws and within the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Amendments
The Company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes prior to their next appointment.
